While it’s convenient to live in your school district of choice, it’s not always absolutely necessary in Colorado Springs. Here, families may participate in School Choice. This process allows students to apply to any K-12 school in Colorado, no matter where they live. Each year, applications are accepted during the School Choice Window. These dates vary each year. Before this time, schools usually host a School Choice Information night so that you can learn more about what each school has to offer. Keep in mind that most, but not all schools participate in this process, and acceptance is not always guaranteed. Students are accepted based on availability and in priority order.
