Easter Egg Hunts Near Colorado Springs in 2022
Spring is finally here and soon it will be Easter. Many kids look forward to Easter Egg Hunts. It’s thrilling to run around outside (or swim in a pool), search for eggs, open them up, and find a surprise. As Colorado Springs and the surrounding areas grow, so does the amount of Easter Egg hunts. For this reason, there are many to choose from all over town and in surrounding areas.
Some require advance registration, so act soon. Also, some are free, and some do require a cost. Most of the hunts take place on April 16th. However, there are events on April 9th, April 10th, and April 17th as well. Choose just one or go to as many as you can. Here is a look at just some of the Easter Egg Hunts available near Colorado Springs in 2022.
El Paso County 4-H Easter Egg Hunt
Date: Saturday, April 9th, 2022
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Kit Carson Riding Club, Cowpoke and Black Forest Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80924
This event will take place in Black Forest and includes much more than just an Easter egg hunt. There will also be cute animals, prizes, and concessions. Tickets are $5 per course. However, if there are more than four members of a family, there is a $20 max for tickets. All money raised goes to the youth in the horse project. Underwater Easter Egg Dive
Date: Saturday, April 9th, 2022
Time: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Location: 111 N. Baldwin Street, Woodland Park, CO 80863
A nontraditional Easter egg hunt, kids will have a blast at the Woodland Park Aquatic Center. Children can dive into the water and gather all the eggs they can. Additionally, whoever finds the golden egg gets a special prize. Different age groups will go at different times and have 20 minutes to gather as many eggs as possible.
Parents must go into the water with their children, who are encouraged to wear a life jacket. Children ages 4 and under will go from 12 p.m. to 12:20 p.m., children ages 5 and 6 will go from 12:20 p.m. to 12:40 p.m., children ages 7 and 8 will go from 12:40 p.m. to 1 p.m., and those ages 9 and up will go from 1 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. The cost is $5 per participant, and you can pay at the door or purchase tickets here.
Filipino American Community of Southern Colorado Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2022
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: 2398 Shawnee Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80915
On the southeast side of Colorado Springs, all are invited to this event at Cherokee's Eastridge Park. This is a true community event because all participants are asked to bring a dish to share and one or two dozen pre-filled plastic Easter eggs. For this reason, it will be a great opportunity to meet others in the community.
Broadmoor Community Church Easter Egg Hunt
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2022
Time: 1 p.m.

Chocolate Bunny Egg Hunt at Fountain Creek Nature Center
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2022
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: 315 Lake Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80906
Children ages 2-10 are invited to participate in this fun event in Fountain. Meet a live rabbit, learn about rabbits in a fun, interactive slideshow, and hunt for eggs as you walk through the woods. Expect the program to last for three hours. There are several time slots available, at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. However, each time slot is limited to 40 children. Reigning Hope Therapy Services Easter Egg Hunt
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2022
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: 13039 Falcon Hwy., Peyton, CO 80831
Taking place in Peyton, this Easter Egg Hunt is free. However, there will be additional activities available for an extra fee. All are welcome to the hunt. There will be spaces available for different ages to ensure everyone has a chance at getting eggs. The event is also wheelchair accessible. Victorian Easter Egg Hunt Miramont Castle
Date: Saturday, April 16th, 2022

Location: 9 Capitol Hill Ave., Manitou Springs, CO 80829
All children who love to be fancy will enjoy this event taking place at the beautiful Miramont Castle in Manitou Springs. This event is for children 2-12 years old, and they must be accompanied by an adult. Children will start with a brief egg hunt in the great hall. Next, they will head to the Tearoom for an elegant 3-course Victorian Tea. This includes a large scone with three toppings, four tea sandwiches, four tea desserts, and a pot of tea. 2022 Easter Egg Hunt

This is a free Easter egg hunt open to all ages on the west side of Colorado Springs at The Springs Journey Church. In addition to the hunt, there will be inflatables, food, and music.
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny and Cow

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Tickets for this event at Chick-fil-a in the Northgate neighborhood are $10. Children who participate will receive a breakfast of Chick-n-Minis and a beverage. Additionally, the tickets include participation in the Northgate Easter Egg Hunt, which starts at 9:30 a.m. The hunt will include Chick-fil-a swag, food card prizes, and lots of other fun items. The Easter Bunny and the Cow will also be on-site for photos and dancing. Arrive anytime between 8:30 and 9:15 and purchase tickets here.
Palmer Lake Fire Department Pancake Breakfast

Enjoy a pancake breakfast and an Easter egg hunt at Palmer Lake Town Hall. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additionally, the hunt will start at 11:30 a.m. You can also meet the Easter Bunny.
